- 15世紀初期進入英語,直接源自拉丁語的notitia,意爲知名的人,著名,知識。
用法辨析
- notice的基本意思是“佈告,通告,啓示”,指用以宣傳某事的發(fā)生或傳達某種指示的通知。也可指“預告,通知”,即告訴某人某事即將發(fā)生。notice還可指提醒某人對某事引起“注意”。引申可指“評價,短評”。
- give notice和have notice中的notice,通常指離職、辤職或解雇等的“通知”,儅have notice和give notice後麪帶有動詞不定式時, notice前有時可加不定冠詞a。
- notice後也可接that引起的從句作同位語、現在分詞或動詞不定式作其後置定語。
