In the evening they will lie down in the houses of Ashkelon.
晚上必躺臥在亞實基倫的房屋中。
And the king will perish from Gaza, And Ashkelon will not be inhabited.
迦薩必不再有君王，亞實基倫也不再有居民。
For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.
迦薩必致見棄。亞實基倫必然荒涼。人在正午必趕出亞實突的民。以革倫也被拔出根來。
But how can it rest when the Lord has commanded it, when he has ordered it to attack Ashkelon and the coast?
耶和華既吩咐你攻擊亞實基倫和海邊之地,他已經(jīng)派定你,焉能止息呢?
Ashkelon will see it and be afraid; Gaza also, and it will writhe much in anguish; And Ekron, for her expectation will have been confounded.
