- 1670年左右進(jìn)入英語(yǔ)，直接源自古法語(yǔ)的guarantie，意為保護(hù)。
用法辨析
- guarantee的意思是“保證,擔(dān)?！?指對(duì)貨物質(zhì)量、人的品質(zhì)或所承擔(dān)義務(wù)的保證,也可表示擔(dān)保某事必然會(huì)出現(xiàn)某種結(jié)果,含有不容置疑的意味。
- guarantee用作及物動(dòng)詞,后可接名詞、代詞、動(dòng)詞不定式或由that或疑問詞引導(dǎo)的從句作賓語(yǔ); 也可接雙賓語(yǔ); 還可接以動(dòng)詞不定式充當(dāng)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)的復(fù)合賓語(yǔ)?？捎糜诒粍?dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)。
