常用用法
- fact作“事實(shí)”解時(shí)是可數(shù)名詞,作“真實(shí)情況”解時(shí),是不可數(shù)名詞。fact引申可表示“論據(jù),細(xì)節(jié)”等。
- fact后常接一個(gè)同位語從句,在“ v. +the fact that-clause”結(jié)構(gòu)中, the fact常可省略,而只剩下“ v. +that-clause”。 返回 fact

- 3.as a matter of fact常用來引導(dǎo)令人感到意外或驚奇的消息或情況。例如:
