-ee suffix (OBJECT)


added to a verb to form a noun that refers to the person to whom the action of the verb is being done
（加在動(dòng)詞后構(gòu)成名詞，表示受動(dòng)者）
an employee (= someone who is employed ) 雇員
the payee (= a person who money is paid to) 受款人，收款人
an interviewee (= someone who is being interviewed for a job ) 接受面試者

added to an adjective , noun , or verb to refer to a person who is in that condition or state
（加在形容詞、名詞或者動(dòng)詞后，表示處于某種情形或狀況中的人）
a refugee (= someone who has taken refuge ) 難民，避難者
an escapee (= someone who has escaped ) 逃亡者 返回 -ee
