- convenient有兩個意思:一是“時間適合某人”,二是“附近的”。作“適合某人”解時,其主語是事或物而非人,表示主語具有“適合某人”的特征。作“附近的”解時,常修飾distance等名詞。
- be convenient的意思是“是合適的”“是方便的”,在以表示事或物的名詞作主語時,其后常接介詞for或to引起的短語。在動詞不定式或that從句作主語時常采用形式主語結(jié)構(gòu),動詞不定式的邏輯主體可由介詞for引出。
