- vi.
- ask的賓語(yǔ)后常接介詞短語(yǔ)表示附加意義,如接about表示詢(xún)問(wèn)的內(nèi)容,接of表示詢(xún)問(wèn)的對(duì)象,接for表示索要的物品,接from表示“要求得到或見(jiàn)到”。
ask after表示“問(wèn)候”, ask for表示“要求得到或見(jiàn)到”。
- ask在大部分情況下是指“問(wèn)”,如ask her name(問(wèn)她的名字),ask the way(問(wèn)路),但在于price搭配時(shí),表達(dá)兩種意思,“問(wèn)價(jià)”和“討價(jià)”。I asked her the price. I asked the price of ¥20.
- ask后可帶直接賓語(yǔ)和間接賓語(yǔ),如ask his name和ask him。 She asked me my opinion.
I asked him a question比I asked a question of him的用法普遍,而 She has a question to ask (of) you和she asked (of) me中的of均可省略。 I am afraid it is too much to ask of him.
v. (動(dòng)詞)
